Fun College Life!

Hello everyone!!! I decided I should let everyone know how college life is going! It is so much fun! I love it!!! Last night a few of my roommates and I went and picked out a Christmas tree. We also had to get decorations too! We went with red and silver decorations! It looks much better than the pictures show. Oh I forgot to take a picture of all of our stockings too. We have huge stockings hanging by the stairs. Our front door was my idea! Everybody loves it! We finally had it up at about 9:00 last night, and had so many people, well girls, come by and tell us how much they loved it! Our apartment smells fabulous! Everytime you walk in, you get a nice breath of pine! MMM!!! Anyway I love you all!!

More Thanksgiving Pictures

HAPPY BIRTHDAY COOPER!!!

Cooper sorry this is late but I just wanted to tell my cute little nephew happy birthday!!! I hope that you had a great birthday and that you got lots of presents. Grandma and Grandpa said that they had alot of fun at your party. I love you tons and tons. And if you were here I would kiss your cheeks!!!

Love Aunt G!!!

Hello

Brittany and I had a very fun Thanksgiving thanks to Shane and Omar. It was fun having Aunt Bette here. Shane cooked our turkey in the deep fat fryer thing. It was pretty cool. Brittany made a salad, bought rolls, and made evil eggs. Yes I said evil eggs. We were sitting at dinner and Omar was eating the eggs. He said to Brittany "What do you call these? Evil eggs?" I thought that was pretty funny so that is the new name for deviled eggs. EVIL EGGS!!!
Shane and Omar have their Christmas tree up already. It was very pretty as you can see from Shane's picture. Their home is so nice and cozy. I really need them to come and decorate my apartment.

Oh another thing that I thought was quite funny, but it might just be one of those you had to be there moments was.....I had to go get Brittany some cough drops. So Omar drove me to Smith's well he was looking for a parking place close to the store. We couldn't find one, so he just looks at me and says "Get Out". I said ok fine. He was trying to be so nice and polite by making it so I wouldn't have to walk so far in the cold. So he just told me GET OUT. I thought it was funny.

Then on Friday morning Kylie made us get up at 4:00am to get ready to go shopping. We hit Smith's marketplace for some socks and then went to Wal-Mart. By then we were out of money. We are such the big spenders.

Thanksgiving

Well Mom and Dad high-tailed it out of Utah for Thanksgiving, so we had to make due at our house. Brittany and Gaylee came down and Aunt Bette flew up from St. George for the afternoon. We deep fried a Turkey and had all the fixins. I think we were all proud of ourselves that we made an edible meal and didn't even burn the house down. Omar and I also set up our Christmas tree. His Mom died last year about this year and he says it was her favorite season, so he went all out on the tree. It's got so many lights on it, we don't need a lamp anymore at night time. With all the studying, I'm having a hard time feelin' the Christmas vibe, but it will likely come once school settles down and it gets a bit closer. The first snow will probably help. Check-out the pics of our Turkey-day dinner and the video of Omar dancing with Aunt Bette in his pajamas. He never did take a shower or get dressed that day.
Love You All,
shane

A UFO landed in our living room.

Pretending to be normal.

Either he's confused or has gas.

Mallary the star soccer player

Just thought I would put one of Mallary's soccer games on. This is my favorite play she had all year. She works her guts out to steal it from another girl then dribbles it away and passes it to another girls on the other team. That's my girl.

Happy Thanksgiving Family

Just wanted to tell everyone in my family Happy Thanksgiving. Thank you for being such a great family to me and my kids. For always supporting all of the CRAZY things that I do. You know if it wasn't for me you probably wouldn't have anything to talk about. Hahaha.....

Brittany and I are going down to spend Thanksgiving with Shane, Omar and we are picking up Aunt Bette at the airport. Since she works for SkyWest she can fly up here for free. So we will pick her up at 10:30am and then we have to have her back by like 4:00pm I think. But we are going to have Thanksgiving Dinner at Shane's house. Dont worry I am not in charge of cooking so Shane's house is safe. I am in charge of drinks, chips and chip dip. I think. Brittany made the food assignment. I think that we are actually going to have chicken for Thanksgiving. Cuz Britt said that she doesn't like Turkey.

Lexie, Braiden and Kylie are going with their dad to Scott's brothers house for Thanksgiving. But then they will be back Thursday night because we are all going shopping Friday morning. Braiden is actually taking my video camera because he wants to video all of the crazy people. I hope he doesn't get trampled.

I just wanted you all to know that I love you all tons and tons. I appreciate all that you do for me!!! Thanks for being my FAMILY!!!

Happy Birthday Samantha

I just wanted to tell Samantha Happy Birthday!!!! I hope that you have a great day!!! I cant believe that you are getting so old!!! Pretty soon you will be driving a car!!!! I hope that you get lots of presents for your birthday. I miss you.

Love Aunt G!!!

I'm not last

Hi everyone! It's been good to here from all of you. We are all doing great. Mallary started playing the flute this year and really loves it. She had her first band concert last week and was proud to be first chair. Jacob is playing basketball right now, Chris is his coach. Caleb keeps me company every day. He loves gymnastics, he calls it toomastics. Chris has been busy the last few weeks finishing the bedrooms in the basement. It should be done the first of Dec. Caleb and Jake can't wait to have their own rooms. I am doing great. We are all getting excited for the holidays!

I wasn't the last one to post

Hey Fam Damily,
I saw that Joni thought she was being funny and had a poll to see who would be the last to post. Hate to disappoint you all, but it ain’t gonna be me. And Joni, next time you decide to list me as a candidate on one of your poll’s, just remember who has your name for Christmas this year.
School is keeping me busy. It’s quite a bit different than undergrad and it has taken some getting used to. I usually feel like I’m a walking ball of confusion and nothing is ever definite or clear cut anymore. At school we can never answer anything with a “yes” or a “no”. Instead it is always “It depends on…” or “Maybe…”The other day, the lady who runs the cafĂ© here at school asked me if I wanted a doughnut. I caught myself instinctively start answering “It depends…” but I caught myself just before I finished with “on whether you are going to make me pay for it or not.” They do some kind of voodoo brainwashing here that somehow turns you into the weenie lawyers that all the jokes are about.
I just turned in a final term paper for one of my classes. It was on common-law marriage in Utah. I think if I had to read one more Utah Supreme Court Case about people “living in sin” I might have to move to another state. I now have to start getting ready for the exam season. I have two, 8 hour exams coming up in early December and another 4 hour exam. Unlike undergrad when I was able to BS a grade or two with projects or assignments, in law school my entire grades are based on the final exams. So I may be hulled up for the next few weeks studying.
For Thanksgiving, Omar, Gaylee, and I had planned to go out to eat since Mom and Dad were going to be out visiting Jason and Jenn. Soon afterward, Aunt Bette decided to fly up for the afternoon to eat with us too. Then Brittany decided to come down this way as well. Brittany is adamant that we’re going to make Thanksgiving Dinner, and I told her we would---but that was just to get her to come. We are really just going to kidnap her and go out to eat anyway. She shouldn’t care….she doesn’t even like turkey.
Omar is in his busy season at work—making candy for thanksgiving and Christmas. He has to be at work by 4:30 AM every morning. But the fringe benefits of having your boyfriend work at a candy store and having access to all the chocolate you could ever want is well worth the price of being woken up that early.
As you can tell, my writing is starting to ramble. My brain’s a bit frazzled from the past two weeks of writing that dumb paper for 12 hours each day. I’m attaching a few pictures from a trip to Bryce Canyon that Omar and I took during my fall break last month.

Are any of my out of state siblings coming home for Christmas?

Love you all,

Shane

Christmas Exchange

Hey everyone, if you don't already know who you have for Christmas this should help. All you have to do is go down one family. So Gaylee has Chris, Chris has Jason, Jared has Shane, etc.

While I was on the blog I thought I would post this video of Colin to see how the video thing on this works and to show you how cute Colin is, he has started to discover lots of things including his tongue.

Love you all! Bryan, Joni, and Colin

My Loco Life

Hi all I am helping Joni with the Blog. So testing testing testing.

The Loveless Update

Let's see I have to think of something good to tell y'all so you will want to come check out the blog and rigorously test it out for me, because I am new to the blog world.

As many of you know Bryan, Colin, and I will be moving back to Utah next May, Bryan just accepted a job at ATK Launch Systems. We've decided to not buy a house right away so I guess I should start checking out the local KOA's for a place to live. Bryan graduates from graduate school (from the University of South Carolina) in December. Colin is growing like a weed he is getting 3 teeth all at the same time (apparently he likes to get teeth in multiples). Colin is very much like his dad not only does he look like him but he also gets hypnotized by the TV.

As for me, well I must also be out of the loop because I had no clue that JD broke his arm. How did it happen? Well, people post some comments see what you can and can't do on this blog and let me know and I will get working on it. BTW - the end goal is to make it so anyone can come in here and post a blog and then hopefully it will email all of us and let us know there is a new blog posted (if that doesn't work I'll see if I can get it to at least email me and give you all the password that I setup).

testing

I am just testing to see what i can do with this blog
